Menopause: Between the ages of 45 and 55. Here’s everything you need to know about it

Menopause is a natural and normal process that women go through. It is most popular between the ages of 45 and 55, and most common at age 51.

This process is described by low hormone levels in women’s bodies, which is when a number of menopause-linked symptoms start to manifest, marking the start of the process itself.

Many women are fear of this process, and this is because it does not grow in the same way for all women, and therefore it is not known exactly how to show some of the symptoms that happen during this process.

Menopause is established when a woman between the ages of 45 and 55 does not have her menstrual period for at least 12 consecutive months without being pregnant or ill.

In this article, we’re going to share with you everything you need to know about menopause, including the most common symptoms and how you can enhance it.

What occurs in the body during menopause?

Menopause is mainly because of natural biological processes. With age, the ovaries’ ability to answer to the hormones that control the menstrual cycle decreases, causing reduced production of the s3x hormones estrogen and progesterone.

For some women, menopause can also happen as a result of surgical procedures, such as hysterectomy or damage to the ovaries, which can cause sudden menopause.

Symptoms of menopause

The symptoms of menopause alter greatly among women, but here are some of the most popular:

  • Hot flashes and night sweats
  • Irregular menstrual cycles
  • Vaginal dryness and discomfort during intercourse
  • Mood swings
  • Sleep difficulties
  • Decreased libido
  • Increasing waist circumference and changes in metabolism

Everyone’s symtoms is different—you may have many symptoms or hardly any. Visit your health care provider about any symptoms or concerns linked to menopause.

Tell your doctor if your periods occur very close together, last more than a week, are heavy, or return after a year of no bleeding.
